Tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la Feria de Cantón en la primavera de 2010, en su 107° versión. Como todos los años, muchos Panameños y Latinoamericanos que viven en Guangzhou trabajan de intérprete de Chino-Español por el tiempo que dura la feria y se gana muy bien (aprox. $100 por día).
No trabajé en eso, pero sí recorrí con Adi por 4 días cada rincón del Complejo de Pazhou (sede de la feria), durante las tres fases en que se dividió, y también coleccionamos todos los catálogos y panfletos de productos que pudimos, que al final se convirtieron en no más que basura que tuve que botar XD...
China Import and Export Fair , also called Canton Fair, is held twice a year, in spring and autumn. It is the most important trade show of China and Asia's largest exposure of exporters. This fair has much relevance in the international arena, and has the most complete range of products, goods and services, plus some very high rates of attendance and business turnover.
I had the opportunity to attend the Canton Fair in spring 2010, on its 107th version. As every year, many Panamanians and Latins living in Guangzhou get a job as Chinese-Spanish interpreter for the duration of the fair and they can get paid very well (approx. $ 100 per day).
I did not work on that, but I walked with Adi for 4 days every corner of the Pazhou Complex (home of the fair) during its three phases. Then we collected as much catalogs and brochures of products as we could, which ultimately became no more than trash XD ...
